ASSESSMENT POLICY AND EVALUATION POLICY
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION AND EVALUATION FOR PREPRIMARY TO XI
- PREPRIMERY
In preprimary classes assessment is a continual process. The academic year is divided into two terms. The students performance is evaluated two times in a term on the basis of worksheets, assignment sheets and different co curricular activities for specific learning outcomes. It is required that students must complete their class work, homework, assignment work neatly and correctly.
- CLASSES I TO V
The academic year is divided into two terms and each term has two assessment reports. Both terms carry equal weightage.

SYLLABUS :- Portion covered in the respective term is made available to the parent and students in the beginning of the session.
PROMOTION POLICY:– Student has to secure 40% in eac subject aswell as aggregate for the promotion to the next class.
The student will also be assessed on three point scale I co curricular activities which covers
- Physical Activities
- Visual and performing Arts ( drawing/painting/ music/ dance)
- Work Education
It is mandatory to have at least 75% attendance to appear for annual examination |
- CLASSES VI TO VIII :-
The session has two terms. Each term shall have two rounds of periodic assessments (PA) and one term exam (Half Yearly/ Annual exam). Both the terms carry equal weightage.

THE ASSESSENT POLICY OF SECODARY CLASS SHALL BE FOLLOWED AS PER THE NEW GUIDELINES AND CIRCULARS OF CBSE.
The Final progress report will be prepared in single annual examination and internal assessments.

CLASS XI
APPEARING IN ALL EXAMINATIONS IS MANDATORY
NOTE:-
(A) If any exam is shifted from the schedule date due to any unforeseen reasons then it will be mandatory to follow the changes and instructions and no application/ request/ excuses for any reason will be entertained .
(B) Re examination of absentees will be conducted in the special cases with the permission of the principal. Parents must submit application to the principal. Decision relating promotion of such cases will be at the sole discretion of the principal.
(C) The medical certificate in case of medical leave should be submitted to the school office within 3 working days of joining the school along with parents’ application.
(D) A student will be eligible to appear in the board examination of class X only when his/her attendance is 75% till PL.
